Burnley - Post match thread

SWP how is the fourth official gonna have a better view than the ref to make a decision? The ref is the ref he makes his own decisions on what he sees at the time .

What a game. Things I learned...

Nacho just isn't good enough yet.
Kolarov is much better in the middle
Kdb can have poor games and still be good enough
How much the fans love zabba
John stones is an awfully nice chap
The referee is most definately a wanker
That Navas is finished as a city player. Sad.

8/10 but only cos it was Burnley

We were genuinely dire first half and not much anyone can say, but fair play to Pep for the subs and set up in the second half. It definitely worked and we got the deserved win.

Have to say I'm worried about our lack of depth in midfield with Fernandinho and Gundogan both out. We need 2-3 players in Jan but suspect we will end up with 1.

On Bravo the guy is an absolute liability. Why we signed him I just don't see any particular strength or characteristic that makes him good for our team.

In his interview I think Pep stated that rules in the PL are interpreted differently than anywhere else in the World.
He could have said that in the same game the rules are interpreted differently for City and the opposing team but he would have been taken to task for that.

I wonder if he could still have problems if the FA take exception to his global comparison of their rule interpretation ?

Just the right side of the line, I believe. He played it cunning, which is no mean feat in a language other than your mother tongue. Watch the shite pundits and press hyenas start circling now though.
