can anyone advise what the best station is to arrive at? We're thinking Manchester Road one but not sure if good pubs are around there
Def manchester rd mate as been mentioned only 5min walk into town centre straight down manchester road

cheers pal nice one
No probs mate as u walk down manchester rd there's a big wetherspoons on your left just past traffic lights shud'nt have any probs in there

No doubt the beer in the fan zone will be 2.8% abv maybe less. Lads and Lassies get your fill in town.

Burnley Central is just as good if you are on the slower train from the Preston/Blackpool direction. Both Central and Manchester Rd are the same distance from the ground give or take 100 yards.

The Bridge is near central and may be worth a visit as opposed to a Wetherspoons, which I imagine some fans will have been to before in the past.

Was talking to a blue last night who is on a coach today, apparentley they have been pre warned they will be met by police and escorted to either the fan area outside the ground or the inn on the wharf as they are designated away pubs, the old bill are gonna try to guide fans ariving by train to do the same as they don't want us wandering around town. we were gonna drink in hebden then arrive an hr before and have a few in the ministry of ale. can't see it being any bother to do so

Morning. If arriving by train the lancs police will be waiting and direct you to the warf. Its decent enough. Try and avoid that and head to the ministry of ale, just to the left if the roundabout. It sells the best ale in town but is only small, so dont all pile in as I wont get served.

Fanzone- they have one in the home end, I think this is the 1st time weve done it for away fans. If its anything like the home one, it constitutes a big tent and skysports. The ale is decent though, moorhouses, cant go wrong with that.

The bridge beer huis- is behind/ to the side of mcdonalds, down the hill and through the car park. Best pub in burnley, but gets busy.

Burnley beer shack. Easy to miss as its in an old shop, but its directly across from the main spoons/lloyds bar.

Enjoy your day, shaun goater's not goona make a surprise appearance is he? Still have nightmares about him....

I'm looking forward to today, getting train from Lancaster at 11am, be in burnley just after 12.
My lass is due any minute, if I have to get a taxi back from Burnley, I'll bring my son up a united fan, that'll teach him.

I wouldn't have thought so mate? Police will be expecting us on early trains I'm guessin, that's why fan zones open from 2-30, being from burnley I'm just going to sample a few in my local town centre pubs then have an hr or so at the fan zone taking in the atmosphere with fellow blues as I've no ticket :(
