Great start for Vinnie.

The morons on Sty were comparing the style of play to last season, and commenting on how well they have adapted to VK's tactics, but there are only a handful of last season’s squad still there, so it’s really a moot point.

It was great to see THB doing so well. Let’s hope he continues to progress. He couldn’t have anybody better to learn from.

Pleased for vinnie off to a winning start is all he could ask for,Huddersfield were fancied after losing out in the playoffs, yes it’s only the first game of the season but it puts a marker down for other teams, when they come up against Vincent Kompany’s Burnley..

I'm impressed with Kompany's calming composure on the touchline, you can already see it working in the way he has got Burnley playing. It will take time to iron out the Sean Dyche hoofball philosophy on some of the players still there from his tenure though, but the possession stats already suggest that Vinny wants to instill the beautiful game on them.

I think they are a good club to cut his teeth on in England and providing he gets the backing off the board and left alone to make decisions i think he could become a top manager.

Burnley fans will have enjoyed that tonight and will be excited to see them winning away in style beating a decent Huddersfield. I hope they go up.
