Another defender sold this time to wolves £20mill,seems they only signed the lad themselves last season..Can see it being a hard season ahead for kompany and Burnley..

I didn't think that I'd ever say this but I'm really looking forward to watching Burnley tonight.
It'll be interesting to see if any of Pep's influence has rubbed off on Vinnie. Will he play the "possession is everything" game beloved by Fraudi Pep? Of course he hasn't got the quality of player we're blessed with, but their opponents won't be of a similar calibre to what we come up against in the PL. I hope he gets his shoulders back and smashes it.

Kompany knows it’s a rebuild does the owner because if they don’t go up this season or next will the owners still back Kompany?!

To be fair, J, Vinnie didn’t have the quality of player at Anderlecht that Pep has at City, but he did a great job there.

I expect him to do well.

He is in a similar position as Paddy V. at Palace last season, albeit down a division. At least, with so many out of contract, he has been able to bring in the type of player he wants to suit his style of play.
