I agree. Just because Vinny is perceived as failing at present doesn't mean he's a failure. If Burnley sack him they'll probably hire a manager that's been sacked at least twice and Vinny will be hired again to succeed for someone else. And they'll come to rue the day they sacked him because he's a born winner.

As for Komps, they're going down unless Forest & someone else (gulp) get hammered by the fair Prem panel but, as with last season he'll likely walk the Championship again playing beautiful football....plenty of parachute payments for the club as well. It'd be madness to bin him off.

In fairness if they did sack him, he has a superb first season but this year for me is incredibly naive in believing he can play total football when the only requirement is to stay up at all costs.

Burnley's squad simply is not good enough to out football 90% of the teams in the PL.
