Burnley Thread - 2023/24

I think we will have a tough game next week at their place.

Worst time to play a promoted team is in the first 2 or 3 games and away from home.

Haven't they been in pre-season since the start of June?

Burnley owner says when they got relegated he got dogs abuse and people in the streets were waving one of their five fingers at him and his family. Obviously not proper Burnley fans

Apparently, Vinnie brought them back to training, then gave them another break, then back to training again. I read something, yesterday, with Vinnie described as a 'workaholic' and 'intense' - I don't know where he gets it from.
 
their season finished 4th of may so they had a 2 weeks training in june to prepare for new season then 2 weeks break again before preseason started for real... have had matches against Genk (loss), Benfica (win), Real Betis (loss), Mainz (loss) to prepare for upcoming season
They have made 10 incoming transfers, latest Sander Berge from Sheff U announced today
 
I want to see Vinny do well but hope those nasty cunts go right back down and then down again even further.

Awful stuff at least twice from the crowd, snide dirty stuff all game from most of the team, Yanks seemingly everywhere, get out Vinny you are & deserve better than being stuck there.

The performance on the pitch reminded my of Norwich in the 70's with pushing/kicking thrown in. Plenty of passing with no end product.

My mate messaged me pre game and said I know 4 names at their club, 2 ex-City keepers & 2 ex-City players....

If they don't beat Luton they're going to really struggle.
