Burnley v City - pre-match

IMO This is going to go one of two ways, the players are tired after being way midweek, we will either scrape a draw due to some comical defending or snatch a 1-0 'Alamo Style' win.
Burnley know we are knackered and will just let us have the ball to pass & pass as we do, side 2 side without penetration. I think we should go for 2 strikers and also fcuking SHOOT instead of looking for the 'holy pass' & a tap in.

Full English then on our way weather spoons few scoops city 3-1 great day
Could do with one meself!

Whatever the result is I'm just hoping we can put out 2 halves of consistency. Too many games we are starting off amazing but then dropping in the second half.

Got a feeling we will do what we did at west brom need an early goal they will have to come out then that's when hopefully we will take advantage

............................Bravo
Sagna.........Stones.........Otamendi........Kolarov
Sterling........Fernando.....Yaya.............Nolito
.........................Silva
.......................Iheanacho

Mix it up a little. I think Kelechi and Nolito need to start, plus Nolito gives better balance on the left - Sterling is wasted there.

Probably a bit slow and immobile with Yaya and Fernando, but can't keep playing Fernandinho.

Gives us good options from the bench with Kun, Sane, Gundogan and De Bruyne.

Not too sure about the 'play Aguero into form' thinking. Give him a rest and go from there.

We were bastard horrible the last time we played Burnley at Turf Moor.

It won't be easy again despite their recent 4-0 loss to a poor WBA side.

The options on the bench I would prefer would be to close a game out, not to rely upon to get us back into a game. Strongest starting line us as possible always for me and rest if comfortable

v the Rags in his first game for starters when he gifted Zlatan a goal. Then there was Barcelona. Also, his poor clearance against Gladbach nearly cost us a goal. Not saying he's a bad keeper. I want him to do well for us, and if he saves us more points than he gives away, then I'll be more than happy.

The howler against the rags was equally JS's fault. Getting sent off was bad, near misses do not in my view constitute "a howler" .
Just you said "another howler" inferring them to be commonplace, when the reality is he doesn't.
