They grow grass there ???????Not complaining about the attendance, but why was the corner of the East and South stand so empty? It’s normally always full. The rest of the mower tiers looked pretty full.
So was I, the game has become the home equivalent of York away which I wasn't at.
That Plymouth game was strange if I remember correctly we got early goals then waited for them to score before we scored almost straight from the kick off a couple of times & back to back hattricks for Adcock.Apparently, it's the first time any team has scored 16 goals since 1987, when City beat Huddersfield 10-1 and then Plymouth 6-2 in the FMC
The attendance for the Plymouth game at Maine Road was actually smaller than the infamous defeat at York. I was at both games, but strangely remember more about the Plymouth fixture, even though it was 11 years earlier.
