wasn't sure where to put this thread but wanted to say how saddening it is to see Bury in this much trouble and it would be great to see if City could help them as they did with Hyde. it would be great to see more big clubs like city helping smaller local football clubs like Bury when it's desperately needed.

is this the same bury who sang utd songs at us when keegan took us there for a friendly??
Don't the Rags play reserve games there, maybe they can help them out, but I wouldn't hold my breath

Re: Bury FC

I guess legaly we can't just help clubs out willy nilly, league rules and stuff.I saw the recent report on Granada tv and they looked like a divided club in a real mess.

I was at the Keegan friendly,i can't remember many United songs, just the odd banter/wind ups.The thing that did suprise me was the shambolic stewarding at the game.Loads of Blues queuing to get into a nearly full end while a side stand was nearly empty and only about 15 minutes to kick off.I said to a few stewards through the fence,''Why not let them in the side stand,it is almost empty?Nobody is here for trouble,we are trying to put some money in the pot for Bury!'' I of course got the usual dumb response you get from jumped up Hitlers in a uniform but in the end someone DID see sense and they did just that.
