If you have a day job, I'd advise you not to give it up for a career on stage just yet.If that means he sells to an Arab royal family next then the Shakers will become the Sheikhers...

FFSI think the AFC Bury lads said on that BBC documentary last year that they would look to merge if the original club could be revived at Gigg Lane. But there has been a fair bit of infighting between the rival factions so it still could all end up a bit “People’s Front of Judea”
Tbf most of the abuse has come from a handful of trolls and weirdos who were against the formation of AFC Bury in the first place, even if that was the only way to keep some form of football continuity and to serve the majority of the fanbase
Looking like they've found a buyer for the club......
Recall when Salford City played the Moston Rag Socks in the North West Counties league. The game was switched to The Willows and 5,000 turned up.Tbf most of the abuse has come from a handful of trolls and weirdos who were against the formation of AFC Bury in the first place, even if that was the only way to keep some form of football continuity and to serve the majority of the fanbase

Would your mate go back to Bury /:Gigg Lane if this consortium succeeded?Looks like it's a fan-led group which is in exclusive talks. A mate of mine is heavily involved in AFC Bury, who are doing really well, but I hope it comes off. Gigg Lane deserves league football.
You are correct although @LongsightM13 alluded to a few posts up, there have been a war of words between the 2 sets of fans and as have been seen with other fan groups sometimes neither wants to concede to the other and it becomes about personalities rather than the common cause they both claim to support.I'm not sure why there should be two clubs. The energy of the fans should be combined provided the new team, based at Gigg Lane, can be seen to have no links whatsoever to the clowns that ran Bury FC into the ground.
Surely all those that set up AFC Bury would prefer a return to Gigg Lane as all of them wanted to remain there (under different ownership) in the first place.
You would hope that common sense would prevail but human nature being what it is, I wouldn’t count on itYou are correct although @LongsightM13 alluded to a few posts up, there have been a war of words between the 2 sets of fans and as have been seen with other fan groups sometimes neither wants to concede to the other and it becomes about personalities rather than the common cause they both claim to support.
Im paying £5 subs and get a monthly financial report and dont see where this comes from ? Anyway heres a taste of todays warfareI am for not one.minute saying the Bury AFC team are being run like how the Moston Rag Sox were being run, but when those running it are paying themselves £30K a year and giving their pals highly paid jobs too, you can see why they don't want to give that all up and go back to being one club again....
That is what was going on at the Moston Rag Sox. I was making the point that for some of these breakaway clubs that is a main reason why those running it won't want to revert back to being a regular fan in the stands and wasn't saying that applied to AFC BuryIm paying £5 subs and get a monthly financial report and dont see where this comes from ? I’ve met a couple of the AFC Bury lads, sorted a couple of them with tickets for their first ever competitive game at West Didsbury and Chorlton when post lockdown capacity was limited to 300 or so. They are not like the FC Ego Trip mob at all, seemed like decent lads whose club had been stolen from them by a gangsterThat is what was going on at the Moston Rag Sox. Crikey! So far so good at AFC thats why they want hard facts before giving up on some good work to date and a great bunch of players. 200 at a cup game in sunderland and double seater players/ fans bus home. That is what was going on at the Moston Rag Sox.
