They just dropped the whole thing. Didn't even bother bothering the club (whose car it was)

Its years since I went down Oxford Road on my way to Manchester Royal Infirmary. On a grey foggy November morning I turned left onto Oxford Road unaware that it was now entirely a bus lane and then I returned the same way . I got fined and wrote- in they let me off the second fine.

How far in the bus lane do you need to be ?
I only ask as someone in front decided to slam on their brakes to turn right so I moved about a foot into the other lane to drive round, then realised it was a bus lane and contravened the prohibited hours, was probably only in it for about 10 metres, but then saw the cameras in front, any ideas anyone ?

I know a chap who pulled into a Bus Lane on Hyde Rd to let a ambulance pass with Blue lights on and received a fine in the post a fortnight later!

Councils are clueless. The Oxford Road turning is badly sign posted, luckily I've not gell in to the trap. We pay enough money through council tax to those w@nkers.
