Bus Welcome vs. Bayern Munich

Hi Everyone - it's that time again.

1894 are working with other fan groups to organise a bus welcome against Bayern Munich next week.

We want to set the tone early and let the team know we're behind them in a huge game. We're looking for a big show of support, so start spreading the word. We'll start pushing this more as the week progresses, and if you'd like to get down and show your support, I'll update this OP with more information.

Yes, this is for our bus and has nothing to do with Munich's bus (Which arrives in a separate entrance away from where we will be).

Be great to get some high-quality pictures if you can.

It's hard to do it properly at Mary D's because the bus whizzes past really quickly.

Anyone who wants to take pyro should just be sensible about it (don't stand on something and wave it around in plain view).

Just stand on a police van like they did in Merseyside, they didn’t have any repercussions.

The club need to talk to GMP and ask them not to pull out fans and fine them for letting off smoke bombs. Apparently this happened at the last bus welcoming. Last season GMP didn’t do that and every bus welcoming went off without any problems. There’s no need for a new and unnecessary heavy handed approach from GMP.

*One thing that has to factored into the bus welcoming is not clashing with the (3000?) Bayern fans marching to the ground from town. That will cause problems. GMP will err on the side of the Bayern fans, as they will want to get them in the ground ASAP*.

Usually 90 minutes before KO. We'll confirm the exact time with City this week.
