It'll take more than 5 years for the public to forget how incompetent the tories are.The Tories will lose the next General Election, because the UK public are not happy with a lot of things (Covid, Inflation, Illegal Immigrants, Mortgages etc).
The Labour Party will not be able to improve matters because of circumstances beyond their control.
Depending on the Labour majority, and any future by-election results, they will struggle on until the next General Election whenever that may be.
The Tory Party will return to power.
Rinse and repeat.
