Reports on SSN saying he wants clarification of his future at city with Mark Hughes otherwise he might consider a move to sporting lisbon.

Personnally i like the young lad and i would keep him played well last season and looks to have a goal poachers eye about him.

Why not loan him out dont want to lose the next potential Drogba!

Copy of report if anyone interested:-

Hughes' pursuit of new strikers has led to speculation that Ecuador international Caicedo could be moved on during the transfer window.

City have already signed Roque Santa Cruz from Blackburn Rovers, are tipped to bring in Carlos Tevez and are also chasing Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o.

That could lead to departures from City, and Caicedo has been attracting interest from Premier League rivals West Ham and Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon.

Caicedo is eager to play more regularly during the coming campaign after scoring four times in 17 league appearances last term.

He appears open to a move to Sporting, but wants an answer from Hughes about his prospects of regularly involvement with City.

Not changed
"City have still not said anything to me about my future, but I have not changed my decision," Caicedo told Record.

"I want to play more minutes and the challenge of the Champions League would be excellent for me.

"Sporting Lisbon would be a good alternative for if I am not in the plans of Hughes for next season.

"I can say that Sporting have contacted my agents, but now it is necessary to have a clear choice about me."

Personally I'd like a loan, I love the guy and want him to stay

Agree a loan, but if he does move on it deffo means we have movement with Tevez or Eto'o.

I agree, reckon we ship him out on loan and see how he does. He has obvious potential but we need to push on this season.

since hughes is not talking to him about his future, means that he wants him to stay. because hughes has already thought about everyone's future, when he released those 6 players and is offering jo as loan to everton. Since benjani's making the news(wanted by stoke) , means hughes doesn't want him. I'm telling you , hughes has decided on everyone's future, and he wants caicedo at city

I would sell him for a small fee with a first option on buying him back and a 50% selling on clause.

I really prefer selling our players abroad, I don't want to see them improving other Premiership sides like Geovanni did at Hull
