Caicedo not good enough

Give the lad chance.....how can you expect a young 20 yr old to play to his full potential when he only gets a few games... he has the potential to be a big power CF he does put himself about a bit and he can hold off a defender.....we need to build for the future.. whoever thinks we will be winning everything in 3 years has to have a F*king rain check.

good things come to those who wait...and we ahve waited for 30 odd years...whats a few years more ...with the fact we have actual money now ???

Caicedo isn't good enough. Agreed. He's really slow, i don't think i have seen a slower player. He is lazy and he cannot pass a ball to save his life. I cannot even think how we paid 5 million for this type of player. He is all muscle, no ability unfortunately. Evans, maybe even Mak or Nimley are much better options. I'll be really worried if Caicedo is in the line up against Chelsea.

He's better than I originally gave him credit for (I said he'd never score in any match for City... oops), but I have real reservations.

Two of his goals have been from audacious backheels and the other two from three yards out. I'd like to see him actually take a shot.

Plus there was a ball played out to the left wing during the Villa match that caught my eye... he should have been first there by twenty yards but laboured over there and only just beat Knight to the ball. Alarm bells started ringing.

He can hold a ball up for sure and he is difficult to de-possess. But I'm not sure he's the striker we're after.

So as it stands it's:

Bellamy >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sturridge > Evans > Caicedo > Benjani >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Micah Richards > The Kit Man > Vassell

Like a few of our forwards, they seem to think the have to be standing on the goal line to take a shot. Robbie, Phil and even Superman are all guilty of trying to get a miracle pass right into goal instead of taking the shot themself.

Big Phil needs to back himself on the shot and get a yard more pace to be a quality player IMO. He is young though.

Players that are 'not good enough' on the city squad:

Caicedo (Too slow and lacks vision)
Fernandes (The CRAB MAN. Passes the ball sideways or backwards...never forward)
Ball (not enough quality)
Richards (lacks ball control skill)
Dunne (lacks ball control skill and has made too many mistakes in '09: 2 Red Cards & 2 Own Goals etc.)
Benjani (Mr. Offside. Looks lost out there on the field)

We should be able to sell these with ease

Santander, he scored a cracker.

OP you lose all creditability. When having said Caicedo isn't good enough(and I'm not his biggest fan)you then suggest Ched Evans, who not only looks out of his depth at this level, I'm shocked, he has scored goals at ANY level.
