Caicedo.

Phil is still only 21 and at the same age Drogba was struggling and playing in a league 2 French side. Drogba only started hitting top form at the age of around 25-26. It takes a long time for some of these big lads to develop. I personally would not mind seeing him come off the bench in some games for us.

Caicedo, Benjani, RSC, jo,Bojinov, were they all mistakes? we are a bit light on strikers if they are. Means Tevez and Adebayor have a lot of work to do next season with all competitions we are in
At least one or two must be of some use to us

We weren't expecting to challenge near the top when we signed Caicedo, Benjani and Bojinov. Same with Jo but he would always have been a mistake unless we were deliberately targetting relegation. I still think RSC is a decent player but obviously his injury problems were blatantly obvious before we signed him and it was a huge mistake for Hughes to sign him. I assume RSC will stay because I'm not sure how we would off load him, the others will probably all go and we will need to add one or two strikers over the summer.

Big Phil is a player that gets in the box and that's what we lack at the moment. How many times have we been in good attacking positions out wide and there's no one in the box because Adebayor is farting about on the touchline and Tevez is deep.

Very good lol, out of that list I would keep Caicedo and Benjani the only ones I can see being of limited use to us

Isn't Benjani's contract up in a few weeks? I really can't see us keeping him if it is and I won't be too bothered to see him go. Nowehere near good enough for us now imo.

No OP you aint the only one to rate Phil, he`s 21 an still leaning.........but has got plenty that hints of things to come and makes him worth keeping.

He can hold a ball with half a dozen defenders around him as long as HE wants, good shot in both feet, knows where the goal is and will get in where the boots are flying.

For me I would have him in the team before Crocky anyday, a real battering ram of a player who will get a lot better over the next couple of years.

Haha I could definately see him leading the line with tevez and keeping say torres and ibrahimovic out of the team
