Calling Electricians

Lights aren't working in my house but plug sockets are
I did circuit board reset but still nothing
Anyone know if a fault in one light can shut the whole light circuit off?
When my electricity went off no lights were on just plug sockets. Which started working again after circuit board reset

If you have lamps on check they have 3 amp fuses in them, something is making the circuit trip you could try and isolate the fault by introducing appliances that use the plugs one by one until it trips.

Yep, the lights are more than likely on one circuit, one goes the whole lot are off.

Oh ! I thought this was a thread to say they are all money grabbing bastards. Can we change the thread title please?

Damn, I've just seen I did that joke 4 years ago.

Oh well.

Sometimes when a bulb or lamp blows it can blow the lighting fuse, I would make sure all your switches are in the off position check your fuse in the board is on then switch one light on one at a time. If it still doesn’t work call out a sparkie
