Sunderland lost 1-0 with a controversial off side decision ruling out an equaliser.
Doyle seems to have done ok,but was a bit sloppy in possession and with a couple of passes that put his team in trouble.

I absolutely love Callum Doyle. He’s got the balls to try and play a pass that makes a difference. Said to the lads at the match today while watching the game, “how on earth is he only 17” hope to god we go up this year and get him on loan again in the championship.

When he transitioned to our U23 from the U18 team, it looked utterly seamless for him. At that point, I really sat up to take notice. Some players just have it where they just rise to the challenge and the game looks effortless; I think he may be one of those players and time will tell.He’s a frightening talent

Just as solid as Flanagan but with some impressive bursts forward to either intercept the ball or try to start an attack---------------------------------------
