Camping

Used to go camping in Edale when i was a teenager...me and a few mates from Wythenshawe. Good laugh. We always ran out of food on the second day of 5....so we had to resort to Wythenshawe survival; rob food from other tents. Coopers Farm campsite banned us!

Love camping. Used to rough it but now the tent has got bigger, 6 man for the two of us, a massive bed, duvets...sort of like a home from home. Going to the bickerton poacher in a few weeks with a load of mates. Nothing finer than camping in the grounds of a pub!

Get yourself lost and then camp. I once had an elk or some other critter put it’s foot on my back whilst I was in the tent, there was a whole herd feeding around me. Another time my brother and sis in law were visiting from Oz, I took them out camping in the woods, about 3 in the morning we were woken up by a pack of coyotes that must have been about ten feet from the tents, the noise was incredible

What! Think i’ll Pass on that! I’m struggling with the sound of the M6 5 miles away!

Nowt wrong with loitering within tent.
We once went to a campsite in Cornwall, and were woken up at 4am very morning by the sound of an aircraft taking off, about 100 feet above us. We quickly found out that the end of the RAF St. Mawgan runway was less than half a mile from the site, and it was the sound of a Nimrod going out on it's "milk run" over the Atlantic.

I think that’s the mistake I made. These pop up things are too small and it feels really claustrophobic !
