Camping

In fairness you are at the mercy of things that will kill you creeping into your tent / shoes out there. Price you pay for a nice climate. Woken up to the above on the whitsundays!
True.....but I even hated it when I lived in England though.
Pissing rain, damp clothes, mossies, pissheads keeping you awake etc

The misses and I camped at Palm Cove for almost a month many years ago, never forget getting out of the tent one morning and looking up in the tree at a hundred or so Fruit bats looking down at us. 15 years on the tent still has some guano on it

The giant fruit bats are still here and say Hi...

thank you thank you thank you.

I was a cumulative of 8 hours on hold since Monday. Got through in 30 seconds here. I lied about wanting to upgrade to Joes and then asked my questions about putting other names on my season ticket until I can travel over again. what an absolute joke of a club we are. Don’t give a fuck about the actual fans.

If you start to hear Werner Herzog's voice... RUN!!!

Nooooo, Mr Chocolate!!!

Interesting thread this for me
Iv just recently stumbled on camping vids on youtube about wild camping. There are loads of channels,Iv been trying to inspire and motivate myself to buying all the equipment needed and go and hike somewhere, mrs isnt up for it though. It just seems better than binge drinking on my days off.

I like it, kids love it and my wife is so-so about it. Get the right campsite and weather and it’s great. I’ve found a few places that are never full due to their size and/or location, and if the weather is good we can just throw the gear in the car and turn up. For an initial spend of £500 we’ll be having these glorious weeks and long weekends for years to come.

I would not forgo a foreign holiday though; the camping trips supplement the holidays and long weekends abroad we do in normal times.

Used to do it at festivals out of neseccity. Not too bad at Glastonbury where people actually care. V fest in Stafford used to descend into a scene out of Lord of the Flies, very quickly. Camper van these days, fuck camping.
