Cooke has handled all the negotiations over the last two weeks after he was given the green light from the ADUG.

This may well explain the reason we havent been exactly signing players left, right and centre.

Rather he concentrated on a few big names the rest will then sit up and take note.

I have insisted that we have been working round the clock to land Kaka and that we are doing EVERYTHING possible.

I did say we have met him here in the UAE and met his father/manager!

And yes I also said we are in advanced stages with Villa.
