it would be as exciting for me as a big name signing in January to see how he gets on if he does

The likes of Milner, Rodwell, and whoever doesn't play out of navas, silva, nasri on sunday to play.
But there's plenty of spaces up for grabs.
Kompany definitely won't play. Richards may get a start.
Potential team:
Pant
Richards Garcia Lescott Kolarov
Navas Milner Rodwell Lopes
Negredo Jovetic
on a presumption of the following for sunday:
hart
zab komp nast kolarov
silva yaya fernan nasri
aguero dzeko
Lopes won't start. There are enough players who will need a start, something like
Pantilimon
Richards
Boyata (needs to play a game, if he doesn't start this he will never play for us again)
Lescott
Clichy
Garcia
Rodwell
Milner
Nasri/Silva (whoever doesn't start on Sunday)
Jovetic
Negredo/Dzeko (whoever doesn't start on Sunday)
It would be a complete waste If boyata plays. it's common knowledge the guy is shit. Why play a near 23 year-old who has not proved himself good enough since his debut 4 years ago when you can blood a youngster with a genuine chance of coming good.
loony bin!

well which youngster can we play in central defence on Tuesday who is ready? Boyata played well against Bayern and will be at the club for the next few months at least. This game will be make or break for him
BigOscar said:I'd love to see him given a go, but realistically it's just not going to happen with a new manager and the pressure he's under to get off to a good start. It's also going to be tough with so many players needing to get games to keep them happy. I think he is ready though to be blooded, so hopefully he'll get a place on the bench for some games, so he can get brought on if the goings good, but even that will be tough with so many players to keep happy
Caveman said:He's been the stand-out player in the EDS for the last 18months. For me, I'd play him against Wigan. I don't think they're going to play a full strength side since they have 46 second division gams and the Europe League to play in this season. So get him on than pitch!

You play Garcia at centre back. Simple.
Thought Boyata was pretty shit in the Bayern game and it was only a preseason friendly so he got off lightly. He won't make it. You're deluded, thick whatever adjective you like, if you think he will.

There's no pressure. The League Cup is not remotely important.
Boyata was shit against Bayern? You made it pretty clear you don't rate him, I don't rate him that much myself, but he had a good game.6one said:mansour's tow ropes said:6one said:It would be a complete waste If boyata plays. it's common knowledge the guy is shit. Winning games breeds confidence, give players gametime and will keep the hacks at bay.
Additionally, given the chance of ending the season empty handed or with the League Cup then I'll take the League Cup thanks!
