from what small bit ive seen of the kids i would like to see george evans gain some match time.as he seems the one with most pretentiol.to me

I don't like Garcia at centre-back. But I'd rather put him there and free up a space in midfield for Lopes.

Sorry what a thick bastard I am, daring to suggest we play a 23 year old who is part of the squad and who impressed when he broke through a few years ago instead of thinking we should play a limited midfielder out of position so we can accommodate a 17 in an attacking position when we have numerous first team players who would benefit from a start instead.

I'm with you mansour,Boyata all day over Garcia,he just needs the opportunity to regain his confidence and he could easily be our 4th choice.
He played very well against Bayern and was unlucky to be carded for a superb challenge iirc.
Wigan would be ideal to reintroduce him.

Boyata hasn't played a single minute since Bayern, which is so strange. He made a couple of mistakes against Bayern but largely partnered Kompany well against one of the scariest strike forces in the world. With some continuity, that might have helped rebuild his confidence but being in limbo has probably made him feel unwanted again. The likelihood is he isn't good enough for City long-term but the Bayern game raised the possibility he still might be with the right mentoring from Kompany.

Was what I said. And consistently throughout the thread have said the same. That it would be futile, idiotic, farcical, ridiculous, stupid, thick, mind-numbingly crappy to play Boyata rather than Lopes.
