Can Roberto deliver us the league title?

After the end of season we've just enjoyed, he could probably deliver a camel through the eye of a needle.

That'd be easy! Could he deliver a camel through it's own arsehole?

Seriously, though, had we taken but a small fraction of the exquisitely worked openings we created this season, we wouldn't be nine points behind this season, let alone 3rd on GD. Yesterday, Gazbaz was more concerned with walkin' into the goal post than keeping the ball down, and David Silva - two or three goals this season? - he could have had 15! Once we up the finishing rate and become more clinical, we won't be throwing points away.

If yer look at someone like Darren Bent. He can wander around for 88 mins never getting a sniff. Two chances come along and he wins the match for yer 2-0. No, I don't want Bent! I want our players to operate like that - ruthlessly.

Of course he can, our players are outstanding and with a couple more added I'd even say we'd expect to.
His change in style is not only refreshing it's successful .

Ahahaha!!

Stop tickling me, Bill!! The style hasn't 'changed', it's merely come together with belief in each other. Remember, we've gone from getting the defence to know each other to working the the machinery of the midfield and then finally the linkage of the midfield to the attack. This is always been the process. Nowt's changed that!

What we're seeing is the fruition of confidence in the system and belief in each other. Even Tévez has integrated and whether he stays or not, he can only believe in Mancini as he believed in Mr Hughes.

More so, perhaps.

Absolutely, even with this squad WE WILL get better having had a full season under our belt together, seeing what he's achieved the players will have more belief in his methods aswell.

Especially now the monkey is off the players back - they won silverware, they are in the CL, they now believe they can win whenever they step out onto the pitch.

This is the key point , the players now have the mental toughness required and this will get stronger next season.

I think Mourinho is on record as saying the most impotant thing they won at Chelsea was the 'league' cup, winning that first trophy together.
