The rewards for the hierarchy would of been sanctioned by him. He makes the decisions about remuneration for all. Do you think highlighting anything would make a difference except to put your job at threat. The company sounds shabby in it's attitude to its workforce to say the least.

My advice would be keep your head down and look for work elsewhere. I know its difficult to find work atm but I think it's the only way to get better pay and conditions though no guarantee. The current unemployment figures work in employers favour. Always bear in mind though that to be covered under employment law a years service is required.

This ^ and whilst you look around ask a trusted user here to send it maybe ? for example i do not know you so if he replied asking who was this i could honestly say i don't know the guy personally and this is why i was asked to deliver it.

You may want to have a word with other staff also, make sure your all of one mind, then all confront the back office. They will not sack you all but you all need the balls to say you will all quit and see about suing them for some breach of employee's rights if they do not buck their ideas up. You would have a case when the pay records of staff are all examined at a hearing defo.

I haven't had a payrise in 5 years, no Christmas party for 4, deffo no bonus and we have layed off loads in that time. Do i worry? Yes. Do i moan? Yes i do. Do i secretly send a mail to the big cheese complaining? No i fucking don't.
Voice your concerns and put your name on it.
 
Tell him straight, without informing your colleagues, but make sure they are around whilst doing it, then you will see if they are worth sticking up for if they suddenly back you up, but have the insurance policy of another job to walk into, but tell no one.
