Can we get Aguero to take penalties in future?

It has to be aguero really. Tevez scuffs them far too often. Dzeko shys away from them for some reason, i remember the pre season game against LA Galaxy when it went to pens, and Dzeko didn't take one of them. Guidetti, lescott, hart etc all went in front of him. And finally, Balo isn't going to get that much game time this season i fear, so aguero it is. I agree with the thought that it should be a striker taking them, no matter how good Hart may be at them!!!!

The best penalty take we have IMO is Joe Hart. This is completely ridiculous considering the ability to strike a dead ball some of our players have, but this is my reason.

As a keeper Joe Hart understands that there are places in the goal that he cannot reach when facing a penalty, when I've seen him he has put the ball near the top corner. Which is un-savable.

To be honest, I think it's a complete disgrace that top class players miss penalties so often. Tevez can hit the top corner from 30 yards, how can he not do it from 12 yards! You don't even need to go right in the top corner, just above comfortable saving height, and not down the middle.

Take this for example, this is possibly the best modern penalty save I've seen. And still, he gets lucky with his hand up, with that penalty Di Natale scores 9 out 10. Put it 6 inches higher or 6 inches further towards the post and he scores every time.

Before anyone says keepers can dive to the top corner, first try it from standing, it's very difficult, and you have to completely commit to that one area of the goal and get your timing perfect, now imagine the ball is hit hard, you just aren't getting there unless you know where he's going to put it. Whereas dive to the foot of the post, it's easy, guess the right way and you save it, simple.

If Tevez is on the pitch then I'm sure he will continue to take them, if not then I'd like Aguero to do them. There is a poll on the MUEN website asking who the top scorer in Manchester will be this season. Last time I checked Aguero was on 40% and Shrek 38%. I personally think Shrek will get more. Why? He takes their penalties. Personal awards don't bother me one bit though.
The only reply that seems to think Tevez should continue to take our penalties. The main arguement I can see for this is to improve Tevez's confidence by not "undermining him".
If Mancini really wants City to score the penalties and make the games "safe" he must recognise Tevez is not the best penalty taker!

I honestly don't think Tevez' confidence is undermined, nor can it be undermined, at all. Look at what he did last game, apart from the pen, his movement and passing was excellent. I also think that he has realized he no longer is irreplaceable, given the new arrivals and Dzeko's form this season.

I am hoping, and I believe there were signs of Tevez getting his head down and working his ass off for the team in the game against Wigan. Giving someone else the penalties will not affect his performance overall imo.

Looking from a career perspective, being a selfish prick AND not performing on the pitch will make him unemployable. And I am sure both Tevez and Kia realize that.
