Do you know what I don't get. People selling tickets on the ticket forum to posters with less than 20 posts in some cases. Spare tickets for the final are sparse but if you have one, why not look on the ticket forum and think who would you rather have it, a poster who registered today or someone with a couple of thousand posts who is on here regularly. I bet half the ones with less than 10 posts are sunderland fans trying to buy tickets in our end. I can't believe people just randomly offer their spare to anyone when some people have been on this board for years and miss out because they don't happen to be on the ticket forum at the right time.
You can't judge support based on a forum. I am, to some, a 'rag ****'. I have over 28 k posts and have been going since 1988.
Someone could have just 10 posts because they see this as a way of getting ticket and have supported the club for decades.

Maybe but I wouldn't sell a ticket to someone with one post.

fair enough selling to anyone with one post,as you say it could be a mackem in disguise.I have one post where i was after a wigan final ticket from the south west,as a shit load seemed to be floating around.personally i was born in hyde, went to city first in 1977 with my dad and brother, moved to plymouth in 1979 (aged 7).watched the odd game from 1984 at city including huddersfield 10-1 and home to brighton ,empty ground ,moulden winner etc.started work in the dockyard in 1988 bought a season ticket that year which i had for about 15 years ,70 odd grounds later, a redundancy some vodka induced headaches ,no york (only one on here)but wrexham away next to a fat smelly prick who took half my seat but sheltered me,poor man's europe tns, lokeren . my family arrived and i haven't been since the takeover ,can't afford it and my children have to be my priority.Wigan for some reason is the only game i really wanted ,of course 6-1 and qpr game would of been good ,but i new i had no chance. For all blues enjoy the good times ,remember the shit ones it will keep you grounded, and in the future i will be back,to be fed up of finals is beyond belief and i hope some fans do not become what we always hated .ps i bet im the only fan on here with a torpoint fc v city programme signed "my dog is ok "by gerard wiekens .25000 posts shove it up your arses.back to being a voyeur.bollock's iv'e ruined my thread i now have two posts.

i'm not going but i'm gutted to be missing it.

since the turn of the year, season ticket DD. cup schemes, match day spending etc for me and the juniuor blues have cost me more than £500.going to wembley this weekend would have cost at least another £300. while i would gladly pay this to watch city if i had it, i don't and so difficult decisions have to be made.

i will never get tired of watching vinny lifting big silver cups but sometimes have to prioritise paying the mortgage. :-(

when i first started going to city around 76 my junior s/t in the kippax was a fiver thats not one game that was all of them and there were more games in the old lgu div one in those days, im not going on sun i just simply cant afford it after handing over £150 on my last payment on my s/t two weeks ago, i dont know where it will end but id say my days are numberd, like the other poster says the mortgage has to come first

There's a few execs (and fans) at our club that need to read posts like these more often.

I'm lucky I can still afford it, to the point where I've wasted money for a trip to Barcelona where I will be without a ticket, but there's many that can't afford even the minor games, and I've good friends that can't, so for me, we as a club need to find ways to keep those who are struggling interested, and going, even to the bigger games like a final, even if its a small number that have to be rotated (sorry no easy way to put that).

In fact it is actually an oblate spheroid ;-)
