i'm not going but i'm gutted to be missing it.

since the turn of the year, season ticket DD. cup schemes, match day spending etc for me and the juniuor blues have cost me more than £500.going to wembley this weekend would have cost at least another £300. while i would gladly pay this to watch city if i had it, i don't and so difficult decisions have to be made.

i will never get tired of watching vinny lifting big silver cups but sometimes have to prioritise paying the mortgage. :-(

Great post and a reminder for those of us in the fortunate position to be going this time as to how lucky we are.

I was speaking to the guy who sits next to me at the Barcelona game and i asked where he was sitting at Wembley.He replied he wasn't going.When i asked why he said ''Well it is old hat now,we are there all the time,plus it is expensive.''

I was gobsmacked.If it was just cost i could understand......but ''Old hat??'' ''There all the time??'' We hadn't had a sniff of a final since 1981 until the Stoke game and i intend to be at every final,work permitting,we get to,i have a lot of catching up to do!!

On a serious note if we continue to reach domestic cup finals each season and if we win most then this may become commonplace.The upside is it will allow fans with less loyalty points to get to the odd final too.

Every club has its average supporter, and it's their choice, it is a lot of money but these pricks will be rare. There is no way I will miss any big game or cup final. Even more so now.

This isn't aimed at people who genuinely can't afford it, it's this lot that seem to not be bothered, and I can't believe they exist

I will NEVER forget going to see city in the doldrums, and getting shit from United fans every day, and by the way united fans that couldn't name the first eleven, or know where the ground was, every bit of success we get makes those years worth while

I will enjoy every single chance of glory for the rest of my days, like most city fans

This very small few seems to be giving us a bad name really, and I'm not sure who these cunts are cos I've never met any
