Can we share season tickets this year?

Dont quite follow that. My Friends and Family are all season ticket holders in their own right.

Does it mean if I want to give my card to a mate when I cant go that they will need their own Citizens membership ?
They would have to have a Supporter Number if you wanted to add them to your Friends and Family list. Not sure whether you can have one without being a Cityzens Member. So I'd say the answer is yes off the top of my head but you will also be able to download multiple tickets onto one phone. So it might be possible for someone with a season ticket to send their ticket to you and you can use it for someone else.

My son has a membership number from around ten years ago. He still appears on my Friends and Family list.

If it's an App with a password, surely you can have the app on more than 1 phone,
btw I'm no expert on this sort of stuff

Apple Wallet isn’t like most apps in that the wallet (and its contents) is embedded into your phone and can only be accessed by you. That makes it safe to have credit/debit cards there. I don’t know much about the Android equivalent but I’d guess it’s similar.
There are ways of transferring certain wallet items between two phones but it’s not as straightforward as just knowing a password. I’m guessing that’s what City are (hopefully) looking into now.

Thanks for the info

The Apple wallet can only be accessed by you but the contents can be accessed by anyone if you screenshot it?

A picture of your debit card would not work at a till in Asda though. Your ticket, like debit cards stored, would work with NFC, so you don’t scan a picture or QR code, just open the app and it should work like contactless payments.

A few people seem to think that a screenshot of a QR code might work. NFC technology isn’t perfect but thankfully it’s a little more sophisticated than being open to such a rudimentary flaw as that in terms of security.
That’s assuming that whoever is checking tickets actually scans phones and doesn’t just look at them.
