Can we share season tickets this year?

They would have to have a Supporter Number if you wanted to add them to your Friends and Family list. Not sure whether you can have one without being a Cityzens Member. So I'd say the answer is yes off the top of my head but you will also be able to download multiple tickets onto one phone. So it might be possible for someone with a season ticket to send their ticket to you and you can use it for someone else.

So what we are saying here is that if you want to give your card to somebody who isn't a City member, they can't go. For example, I have friends visiting from foreign climes, who want to go to a game, but can't unless they are a bona fide signed up member?

I think City might be surprised just how many people fill their seats who go on one-off occasions. Indeed, it's often such one-off visits that sew the seeds for more regular visits.


GIven the negative PR the club have regarding empty seats, you'd think we'd actually try and make it simpler for people to get in, not more difficult.

my dads renewed two season tickets, in his name and also my brothers name.

Except in my brothers name its usually me, my brother or before my mum passed my mum would go on that card.

Be interested to see what the script is.

You can ask all you like you won't get one. It's the standard response they give 'options will be communicated in due course'
City give one person a plastic card and they will be inundated by thousands of people requesting the same so it just isn't going to happen unfortunately.
I've gotta, break the news to my mate who ain't got a compatable phone or printer and I already know he's gonna get onto City and sack it off and demand his money back and he won't be alone I fear.

Don't want to preempt the club's official announcement but our understanding is that you will be able to share tickets with those on your Friends & Family list.

Mind boggling. Everyone on my friends and family list is a season ticket holder, I want to give my ticket to my dad when I can't go to games, likewise the lad who sits next to me does the same when he cant go.

I really dont trust city with these sort of things but we will see.

If there's no way of sharing your ticket, that will be me finished to after 38 years continuous,, I won't be going many this year but have a mate who wants to use it.
So they either give me a plastic card or I will also demand my first payment back and cancel as they have sold me a product that I cannot use, so not fit for purpose!

I hope you reconsider but I do sympathize and I know a couple of other people thinking the same way.

At times it seems that the club is determined to make life difficult for the average fan.

My big worry is that a significant number of fans will be lost permanently by all this.

I only hope that the non sharing of tickets is down to Covid and won’t be implemented afterwards. Lots of fans would like to go but can’t afford a ticket or go regularly. This is a cheap way to give friends and family the chance to watch live football a couple of times a year by passing on their season ticket gratis.. It also means less empty seats for the media to count :)
