Well , there we have it ...... it was NEVER likely to happen , and now it HASN'T happened ...... even the mathematicians , optimists , the misguided , and the plain stubborn , have to concede what some of us on here have known for months ... that the title had , and now has , long gone !
Lets this be a lesson to everyone at the Etihad who thought we only had to turn up to triumph again , we've been far too complacent , not sharp enough , not eager enough ...... and now the players walking around town , and attending parties , with title winning grins , aren't gonna be the ones who normally turn out in sky blue !
Next season we must be ready to take this crown back , and that means a concerted effort right from the very first game , no more pussyfooting around , and no more thinking we've got the game won even before we show up ...... the fightback begins here !
