Can we win it now?

Gonna be very difficult now .....

we've allowed the rags to go four points clear at a vital stage of the season , and we've a tough game coming up on Wednesday that , in my opinion , we're gonna HAVE to win .

We also have the more difficult run-in ...

Can't see the rags losing many , if any , games from here on .... so defeat on Wednesday night could just put too much pressure on us to respond , and it wouldn't bode well for our title chances , even with a home derby to come ...... a home derby which we were hoping they'd have to win , but now it looks like we'll be under pressure to!

It's exactly the same situation as it was last week - if we win our games we are Champions. in fact we can draw one and still be Champions if we beat Utd at home

Not a chance with our makeshift defence and highly unlikely even if Komps and Lescott return for Chelski.I can see us dropping points in several of our remaining games.

No silverware this season folks.

In an ideal world , yes Marvin ...

but the pressure will only mount as games wear on , and we are not the worlds best side for dealing with it .... even at this stage , dare we lose (or even draw) against Chelsea ?????

You saw how City handled pressure in that Champions League group , or even in that first half at Swansea !

I remember coming on here before the semi final draw last season and shaking my head in disbelief at the level of spinelessness shown by some posters at the time. People would do well to remember how scared they were of even playing united twelve months ago and where we find ourselves today. If the leaders of the French or Russian revolution had shown the same defeatist attitude when trying to overthrow the established order, history would have taken a very different course.

Make no mistake, it will take every ounce of effort and mental strength to win the league this season, and that includes us as supporters.

This is a game of chicken we can win. If we go on a winning streak between now and the Derby it will be them who will be having self-doubt as it not what they expect, but we need to do our bit as supporters to try and make that happen.

And seriously, did anyone really think this was going to be easy - like some sort of procession?

Wednesday is a big game now. You might even say it was massive. Eyes on the prize blues. We can be the twelfth man and play our part which means we can ram it down all those fuckers throats with interest.

Game on.

We can.

But we have to beat chelsea.

Play the strongest available 11 from the word go. Play with desire, authority, determination and togetherness. No fucking about, no complacency, no 'not preparing'.

The race is now at the 'mentality' stage. Win and it goes back to just the 1 point. Pressure back on the rags.

I'd say Chelsea is the most important game of the Mancini / Arab era so far.
I think the Semi Final was the biggest so far, that proved we could beat the best team on the big stage under pressure and was a maddive statement by the Club for the future. If we don't win the Prem we have again made big statements this season including matchinh Utds record home wins in a row and one we could beat on Weds. Its not all doom just yet.
