Can we win it now?

Gonna be very difficult now .....

we've allowed the rags to go four points clear at a vital stage of the season , and we've a tough game coming up on Wednesday that , in my opinion , we're gonna HAVE to win .

We also have the more difficult run-in ...

Can't see the rags losing many , if any , games from here on .... so defeat on Wednesday night could just put too much pressure on us to respond , and it wouldn't bode well for our title chances , even with a home derby to come.
It's exactly the same situation as it was last week - if we win our games we are Champions. in fact we can draw one and still be Champions if we beat Utd at home

In an ideal world , yes Marvin ...

but the pressure will only mount as games wear on , and we are not the worlds best side for dealing with it .... even at this stage , dare we lose (or even draw) against Chelsea ?????

You saw how City handled pressure in that Champions League group , or even in that first half at Swansea !
Also been plenty of examples of when we have dealt with pressure

fuck the red cunts and fight until the end, win or lose

We HAVE to now .....

as do United ....

neither of us have anything else to play for , and whoever finishes up the loser will be deemed by all and sundry to have had an unsuccessful season !

I doubt whether just qualifying for a Champions League place will be good enough this time around ..... serious questions will be asked in the marbled corridors of power!

No. :-(

We lost it when.......

Tevez went AWOL.
Yaya went to Africa.
Kompany went for a 4 match ban.
Mario went for a 4 match ban.
United went through their difficult 5 match period only dropping 2 points.
Recent defeats at Sunderland, Everton and Swansea, and a draw at WBA. (11 points we could have and should have picked up)

Add to that, United playing Arsenal and Chelsea when they were playing poorly. Look at them now.

It's still the age old question .....

which Manchester City side is gonna turn up for our next game ?

The one which slaughtered the rags at the Swamp , or the one which has played pathetically in the opening halfs of our last two games.

We just don't know .... we could already have cooked our goose in this title race , or we could be about to add to those odd times that exist in our history where we have managed to come up with something very special .

come on BM.......remember the power of positive thinking. Come up with all the excuses if we don't win the thing.

I'm desperate to win the league for us but more to shut the smug bastards up over the road.....

I hate the fact that they have known nothing but success and hope with all my heart that we can bring their house crashing down.......

Horrible blip we've had, let's hope it is over, I felt after the second half on Thursday that we'd lost the monkey off our backs

hehe ....

just a realistic slant on things 'mcvs' ....

trouble is we all know it's exactly how this club is !

Believe it or not in 1968 when we were crowned champions we actually lost six more games than we currently have this season !

The age old tradition has been that we beat the best and lose against the dross. Watch us blow a 3 point lead and a plus 5 goal difference against QPR.
