Can we win the title this year... do you believe or not?

You just never know with football. Its a definite possibility.

But IMO its just a level too far at this stage. Like most people have said i would be ecstatic with 4th but i believe we could even finish 3rd. We have played every team so far apart from Everton and only one team has outclassed us, that being Spurs.

We are half way through the season and are on 35 points. I think we capable at getting another 40 points at least. That should see us to a champions League spot.

Lets look at this this way.
The first half of the season has seen all of this so called invincible top four drop a lot of points.
Arsenal, Yoonited, Chelsea, Liverpool will all have extra games in the European Comps as well as domestic leagues. I believe we have a stronger squad than all of them. FACT

Non of the above clubs will be confident of getting through all their games with the squads they have.

Mancini will know ans see this and know if he gets us in the top 2 the job is his.
Can we win it.........
Of course we can.........Look at the table then look at the fixtures. Its staring you right in the face. This is the year of the 13th Blue Moon.

I am the most pessimistic Blue normally but I thought that the title should have been the aim from the start of the season and that's why I became so frustrated with Hughes and his constant 'dumbing down' of our ambitions.

We can win all three domestic trophies. We probably won't, but we can because we have a fantastic squad of players; second only to Chelsea in my opinion.

If we win tomorrow night there will be a lot people looking at the table and thinking, "Shit, I didn't realise City were doing that well." We'll be six points behind United with a game in hand and a home derby to play.

Us to win it and United to finish outside the Top 4? Believe brothers and sisters, it really could happen.

Im 27 years old and this is the first season people are talking about us winning the league. before the season started i bet a few of my rag mates that this is our year, £80 in total (i know what you may think, but i got a bit excited with all the transfers). one of them even gave me 5/1 odds!

I have been standing my ground all season with them saying that we will come good and still win the league. towards the end of hughes management i thought it was all over. but since mancini has come in i reckon we have more chance than before. and i think my mates do too, but they wont admit that.

The signs are looking good. i know its only 3 games, but 3 games won, 0 goals conceded, 2 away games... that in my eyes is significant change. i have heard pundits saying hughes would have got the same results had he been in charge, but we all know that he wouldnt. i mean we hadnt won away since aug/sept? and i cant remember the last clean sheet we had under hughes.

Under Mancini i am really starting to believe that this year we could actually be contenders... What do you think?

I think this year maybe out of reach, but its not impossible by any means. We would have to go on a hell of a run and hope teams above continue to take points of each other.

Think this year is a bit beyond us to be honest. Mainly due to three main factors, firstly the number of draws we've had, secondly the new players taking a bit of time to gel and lastly Hughes tactics not to be able to shut out a game (see factor one).
The teams above us are nowhere near what they used to be, I think in the second half of the season we'll get more points than all of them - but it won't be enough to get the title. Maybe top three...
But next year with Champions League (hopefully) and attracting some new top players, we'll get there.

Me too....... but wouldn't it be bloody fantastic if we did...... now I'm excited! Mancini seems to have given us all an element of confidence. I love the guy already!
