Can you speak more than one language?

I can speak fluent English and did spend a weekend in Liverpool at a stag and have now picked up a few words of Scouse along with improving my ability to spit.

I speak two languages. English when sober and a form of Swedish when I have had a few ales!

I can speak Dutch not fluent though. I lived in Holland for 5 years.

I live in Wales so can obviously speak Hindi

I’m looking at brushing up on my Spanish for future trips to Malaga and Buenos Aires. It’s courtesy more than anything. I also will look at Welsh when I go and live there.

Can anyone speak anything aside from English to a good level? What, how and why? Thinking about how to learn.

I'd recommend Duolingo, it is a free app with millions of users and is quite good fun to learn.
