Rang to cancel this morning. I have to give one months notice and when asked I advised them I would not be renewing in August as I understand that Gary Neville has been signed on as a pundit.

Their agent laughed and said it was unbelievable how many people had cited that reason for cancelling their subscription.

If we all did it surely Sky would get rid of the the rat faced one.

I bet for everyone that cancelles 2 more sign on. There subscriptions go up every year so they dont care or even note down your reason for leaving, just pick a random option from a drop down menu

Well done, mate. We need more people to take this route. It won't do them any damage but we'll be making a point.

I cancelled mine years ago, and to be honest I have no regrets. If I can't make the game I'll watch a live stream: it isn't very good, admittedly, but it's still a lot better than lining the pockets of the Fergie arse-lickers at Sky.

Spider boxes run linux (at least technomates do and I assume spider boxes will be the same). I'm not implying the poster is doing the following, but they allow you to do something called card sharing.... Ridiculously cheap (illegal) sky TV and any other satellite TV for that matter. Get the lot movies, sports 3D etc... for about £6 a month.

Tell me more, I need to everything about these spider boxes ... emmm ... so I can warn people against it if it is illegal. PM me if you like.

The £60 a month I willingly pay is scandalous.
