those of you dismissing my cyrille regis claims are daft. the fa are pushing the fact that there's not many black managers any chance they get. they're about to make the ultimate statement.

tolmie's hairdoo was chased off this forum because people poo-poo'd his ITK status, well i'll have the last laugh, fuckwits.

keep fishing kev lad!!! A* for effort...................... :-)

no fucker ever takes me serious. I've honestly heard, from a mate who works on the St.George park project, that there'll be a top coaching team around the new manager. that man will be Regis.

ok pal, just couldn't see them appointing somebody with no managerial experience as england first team manager. if they wanted to appoint a black manager then surely they would go for somebody like paul ince who although not really successful is experienced in management who also gained alot of caps and captained the team as i remember.

Really couldnt give a shit about England f.c but glad crapello shoved one up the f.a. Right before a major tournament to show just how much of a bunch of fuckwits they really are. Look forward to him spilling the beans in the press.

Let 'arry manage the national squad, good news for city as far as I'm concerned.

Mourinho to spurs? Do me a favour...

stuart pearce to bring his unique brand of attacking football to England as caretaker manager

twitcher to take them into the euros on part time basis thus saving the compo to the yids

Havent read the rest of the thread but a trusted source has told me the new man has the initials CR and will be a surprise choice.

Cary Redknapp...thatll do..

What about a dream team of Peter Reid and Bryan Robson?
Both out of work. The team could run and run and run for 90 minutes. That's about it really.

Wait a minute.......

I have no idea why any of you seek the approval of the FA and actually want Micah in for England. Personally I think Capello did the best he could with an FA that runs team selections. Is it any wonder why he's leaving after criticising the way they handle dressing room business. Capello as a manager is a five times the tactician that Harry is. I doubt Harry could field a team to defeat Spain and all one has to do is examine Harry's performances against the top 4 this year to prove he is a small time manager.

Not a Capello fan. But the grass isn't always greener.

Not the most accurate statement to come out with. I wouldn't have thought he could have managed his Spurs team to top their Champions League group at the first attempt whilst being in the same group as the current Champions. But he did.

He won the FA cup with Portsmouth beating Man Utd on the way.

He took Spurs from the foot of the table to the top4 material in the same season.

He's doing extremely well with Spurs now and has drew with Chelsea, battered Liverpool, beat Arsenal. I think the 1st two games of the season against the Manchester clubs were indifferent performances due to injuries and the Modric saga.

So, its only a 3-2 loss at the Etihad which in all fairness was a fairly even game and one he could have won had Defoe had Adebayor's legs and I firmly believe they will beat Man Utd in a week or two.

It's not always about Tactics. It's clear players want to play for Harry and he gets the best out of them. Yes, he's no Fergie, Mourinho, Hiddink et al, but he's a good choice for England manager if you ask me (regardless of any possible dodgy dealings!!!)

Yet you're ignoring the great catalyst among his time at Portsmouth and Tottenham. Spending. Harry has overseen the largest influx of cash and wages into two teams not named Manchester City. The spending he oversaw at Portsmouth put them in the ground and if they continue to foot the bill for the wages of Modric, Bale soon Lennon and VdV it'll happen once more.

Would you say Mancini is more than qualified to be the England boss? After all, aside from managing an Inter side that were already top 3 material in Italy and also having an incredible influx of cash and wages at City? Regarding the spending, it's Levy's money, not Redknapp's. If Levy agrees it, why should Redknapp worry about the finances, he'd be perfectly within his rights to expect Levy and co to be overseeing that.

"Indifferent" performances are what have plagued England since 1966. His first two performances against the Manchester clubs are really no excuse to get battered by 8 goals collectively. Tottenham are not a small time club despite everyone ingesting sky's nonstop bull. They have spent considerably in the last few years and their wage bill included internationals of the highest order sitting on their bench.

I agree, Spurs are not a small club at all. But he's played a big part in getting them to where they are.

The question one has to ask themselves is whether we want the next England manager to be a lovable loser or one who oversees development of the likes of Oxlade, Redmond and co. This idea the next England manager has to be English is an absolute joke. Quite frankly its in Harry's best interest to maintain his post at Spurs. Because once he's anointed the chosen one he'll have 2 years and a stained rep.

I don't say he has to be English, but whoever it is must be fluent in English and command respect of the players. Obviously Harry fits the bill here, as does someone like Hiddink
