Captain for next season | Bernardo confirmed (pg11)

Was this penalty decision not just as simple as Haaland missing 3 or 4 of his last 7, and Marmoushy scoring all of his last 7? Literally just putting ego to one side and going with the most likely scorer...

Never seen Haaland shirk any responsibility in his time here so I don't know why a penalty against Palace in the Cup Final would be the time to start

Personally think he's gonna do what he always talked about: playing for Benfica again before he's past it

World Cup 1990 FINAL - Matteus said his shoes didn't feel right.. gave it to Brehme.. Brehme scored!

So I have no problem with Haaland passing it up if he's not 100%.. and Omar took a good pen.. the keeper just saved it!

That bloody ex Rag cheating goalie shouldn't have been on the pitch to save it if the game had been played fairly without plain sight corruption.

I'm still seething at Shearers disgraceful biased commentary - was worthy of a Martin Tyler award.

Captain? For me Bernie, then Rodri.
 
I just assume that everybody in the squad is trying their best and Pep spots and elbows anyone who is not. (Nasri?)
 
A good mix of leaders, including Haaland and I don't think Gundo being omitted from the group will have any indication of him being moved on (although it does mean he'll be used more sparingly)
 
So Pep’s picking the captains this season.
He wasn’t happy with how it went last season.
I’m guessing Walker fucking off has influenced his decision, add to that what he saw in the dressing room and on the pitch.
Hopefully it’s strong characters that will speak up and not be afraid to speak their minds when needed.

Think its the right way to involve big Erl into the group to learn and show charakter for the team. He needs now to evolve as a person, not to moan to much as he understandably got frustrated often with his teammates Last Season. But to do it on a other way also to motivate them and get them to be more confident. Also our main man up Front for many years.
