Captain Kompany

I feel that Kompany hasn't been himself since De Jong left, if that is due to a change in tactics or their chemistry, I don't know.

Players like Tevez, Bellamy, De Jong - Stubborn players that always give a 100%, is what this team is missing to be honest. When the majority can't be arsed, how easy is it to be a captain then?

Chelsea have maybe had the best spine ever in Premier League with Cech, Terry, Lampard and Drogba - Flanked by players like Essien, Makelele and Carvalho. Not always the most interesting team to watch, but difficult as hell to beat and a never say die attitude, game after game after game.

I don't want us to play like Barcelona one game and then screw everything up the next one. I want good professional performances that lead to good results. But who said it's easy being a City supporter.

Was watching the tunnel cam for last nights game

After the final whistle you see Kompany walk past the dressing room door and go into the door at the end of the corridor

I'm guessing it's Pells office

I've not noticed anybody do that before - they always go in to the dressing room

Makes you wonder what happened in there

Speculation on my part of course

I don't like the Chelsea team, but grudgingly have to dmire their team spirit over the years when it was chaos in the manager's office

Players like Terry really did keep them at the top of the table or in contention for trophies through their will to win.

We don't have that. I thought at one stage we did, but it was absent last night and at the FA Cup Final, and at home to Wigan in the FA Cup Q/F

Mr Pellegrini's office is the one at the bottom of the stairs as they arrive.

I did notice Vinnie going into that room, he started to go into the dressing room and then seemed to change his mind and headed for that room. Is it not the icebath room or, as someone else has said, it could be the toilets.

Interesting view Marvin and not without some merit no doubt. I don't think he's been fully fit last couple of games so it's unfair to slate him for his performances. What I would notice however is he's not the best guy to be calling the offside line at the back, last night he was playing Collback on when he had that great chance 1 on 1 with Joe 2nd half, other guys had all stepped up and it's not the first time either, playing Messi onside at the Etihad for the penalty, Villa away game (their 1st equalizer) where the guy was actually offside but he was dangerously close to playing him on. MOTD did a good thing after the Hull game saying how after VK was sent off MDM organised the back line for offside to almost perfection.
Not his greatest season by any means, botch up with Nastatsic for Villa's winner at their place, stupid sending off at Hull, careless own goal at Fulham, diving in unecessarily in LC Final allowing Borrini to score easily, sliced clearance handing a near down and out Liverpool a winner on Sunday.....quite a few mistakes that have been expensive but most players have the odd big mistake or two in them as well and to be frank, I still feel better seeing his name on the teamsheet before kick off.
He had that injury against Newcastle in the 1st game of the season that might have knocked him back fitness wise for a good while, who knows? For all his mistakes this season he has countered a good few of those with fantastic performances for the blues.

If there's a player we should have a go at it's not flipping kompany, my lord. Do you know now fortunate we are to have him? Who would you rather have instead? There isn't a better defender in the world. And who else would you give the captaincy at city? Zabba is the only other option.
Correct,Zabba should be captain.

I say this every time Ya Ya comes out as Captain. Zabba should be the vice-captain.
