I thought at the time that they only filmed him doing the odd length of his yard and he wasn’t doing all those hours of walking they claimed he was.
Kids Company was mismanaged, Charity Commission finds
Kids Company repeatedly failed to pay tax and workers, a report by the Charity Commission finds.www.bbc.co.uk
Same treatment as the CC tried to impose on Kid's Company's trustees would seem apt, if they have been fraudulent.
Would see them banned from acting as company directors or trustees of any organisations, including their own consultancy firms.
Is it much different from fraudulently raising money by shaking donation boxes for bogus organisations?
Looks like his daughter might have been on the fiddle
Capt Sir Tom Moore: Watchdog to review charity's accounts
Accounts for the charity show it paid out £160,000 in grants and spent the same on management.www.bbc.co.uk
Yeah but I bet the old roister doister took a few shortcuts.I don’t think captain Tom would have been on the fiddle. He was a bit too old school for that.
I watched live footage of him finishing his walk, the cameras were there with a lap to go and one of the crew asked him if he could 'go over the line as if it was the 100th lap' even though he had one lap to go. He told them in no uncertain terms that 'if he was doing the walk - he was going to do it properly'.I thought at the time that they only filmed him doing the odd length of his yard and he wasn’t doing all those hours of walking they claimed he was.
I'm sure he was but even I couldn't keep track of how many laps I'd done if it was me doing it, at nearly half his age, so would be relying on others. 1, 2, 6, 17, 28, 100 .. done it!I watched live footage of him finishing his walk, the cameras were there with a lap to go and one of the crew asked him if he could 'go over the line as if it was the 100th lap' even though he had one lap to go. I reckon that Sir Captain Tom was as straight as a die.
