Quite a few of us go over to France / Belgium every year and do the battlefield tours , hire a minibus and a house and spend a week out there . Was in Normandy ( Arromanches ) for the d day celebrations a couple of years ago and had the pleasure of sitting down and having a couple of beers with some of the old vets , so captivating and humbling . A great many of them do a great amount of charity work . As one post said the youth of today should take a look at these fellas

Is he still going? There is an old lady going up and down her stairs and raising money,i only had half an eye on it but i think this morning introduced them over skype
