Just found out from a friend that Tom's daughter and son in law are in charge of the charity collecting the money and with commission and charges have made £600k.
It was lifted off Instagram and the company is called Maytrix Group.
No idea if it's true, but nice work if you can get it.

well a quick search shows the company exists and she is a director - oddly they haven't published accounts and bank statements that show if they are making anything out of it but I am sure that doesn't bother Instagram. Do they know anything about 5g?

It's being organised by NHS Charities Together, which is a legit umbrella organisation for different NHS charities.
I did hear about Just Giving taking a large fee as standard if you don't go in and change the amount, but that doesn't seem to be true either. For charities there is a monthly fee of max £39, a 1.9% payment processing fee and a 5% gift aid service fee (5% of the Gift Aid, not the total).

Yes, me. As with everything the media get their hands on, it gets smarmy and ruined. It is now becoming like all the other Facebook shite, oh we must knight him, Michael Ball/YNWA, record at number one etc etc. Soon they will start attacking him, someone will dig up his war record and find he bombed a hospital. The bloke has been brilliant but the media circus is doing my head in.
Edit: I see it has started already. I had not read the previous posts about his daughter allegedly in charge of the charity.
