I lived near Edge Lane for a year when I was last in Manchester and never had a major issue. There were a few scrotey twats hanging around but I was never threatened or robbed. It’s a real stain on an area I had lots of friends in.

Opportunist thieves are waiting for the influx of cars and heading out. Drivers are needing to use designated car parks or leaving elsewhere. Street parking clearly not safe.

It was vandalism not murder ffs. You should’ve paid to park it in one of the many available guarded car parks.
Just ring chipsaway and get it repaired.

Wouldnt surprise me! Was in the supermarket the other week and Girl Scouts were doing a fundraiser selling Girl Scout Cookies outside. When asked if I would like to buy a packet or two, i replied I didnt have any cash, just a card.. Quck as a flash 2 of the gang proudly declared they accepted cards and one of the mums whipped out the hand held machine!

Oh stop being so precious, I've got sympathy for you and anyone else who gets their car keyed whether it's a shed or a Ferrari.

I was just taking issue with the poster who claims the Evoque is ''good'' car...by any and every conceivable measure you won't find anyone who knows anything at all about cars will describe the Evoque as a ''good car''.

They're overpriced and unreliable but look quite ''flashy'' and are readily available on easy credit so are much beloved by people who value style over substance, or reliability or value for money or practicality or performance.
 
Place a dashboard cam a bit further back in the car like around the head rest and record. See of you can get footage and get it on here to ID.

Where Dya park? I park behind the cem now and I’ve never had any trouble, but I’ve parked behind Mary d’s before, around there, and had scratches. I got a parking ticket once, which was my own fault cos I was running late and didn’t check, but some bastard took it off my car so I didn’t find out about it until the letter came through the post telling me the fine had doubled
 
Bl00dy hell, I was gonna park in Textile Street next Wednesday evening for Vinny's testimonial, but after reading some of this thread (particularly the one regarding Textile Street), starting to think I should change my plans!!

Haven't got a decent car, but would people advise going elsewhere? (would like to be on South / East side of ground if poss, as live down south, so that's easiest to get away across the Woodhead Pass and down M1 etc.

Any help much appreciated!

I’ve got a 18 years old Porsche Boxter, only use it in summer but after 4 years ownership I’m selling. Twice I have the car scratched by keys, the latest one cost £400. My car is worth less than a 3 year old Focus but some pricks have targeted mine because it looks nice. I’m gutted but it gets me too upset when it happens. Also some fucker run into it at a garage (round the back away from camera) and didn’t hang around to report it, that was another £600.
 
looks like the scroats just target an area or car park each game. Got back to the car park last night and mine was one of 5 or 6 with windows smashed.

NCP car park outside Piccadilly station which seems to get used by a lot of blues
