Been wide awake since 4, so looking forward to this, setting off at 9, parking at clarendon gardens, 5 minute walk to green man for a beer, come on city!!!!

I was in there yesterday/last night. Cheap and shabby but all the pubs will double their prices today and it will be plastic glasses. I had left to meet a friend elsewhere but some blokes in the hotel said the landlady had shut early because City fans were singing. God forbid a few fans have a sing song before a cup final after the pub has made a fortune selling them booze and food all day. A gobby local seeing one of my mates City top was slagging us " Northern ****s spoiling his local boozer" for him off to his mate in the bog. My mate told him in no uncertain terms to fuck right off. Not the friendliest accommodating boozer around.
 
Just setting off driving to Manchester
Piccadilly to London
Few beers with old friends then on to Wembley.
Surprisingly nervous about today.
 
Waiting on a taxi to dilly for train up, in london around midday then down marlybome to meet some already there.
 
off to buy a bed this morning, back for the start of the coverage, hobgoblins ready and waiting, as is the glendronach, thai royal house takeaway, timed for HT delivery
