Thought villa fans were woeful

Miles better than us but the giddiness of being in a final probably helped that.

Sounds like I had a right result with the trip home, as I had to go right the way up the M1 to drop my lad back at Uni in Nottingham. Including the 30 minute detour to come off and take him to his halls I was back sat on my couch with a glass of wine by 10.30. Once out of London I never dropped off my cruise control.

Lucky bugger. Lol

Driving back to Cheltenham, unbelievable nightmare. The traffic control is no existant.

I'm sure I'll forget in a week but right now, never again.

All compounded by the main north-South motorway down to one lane, gross incompetence !

I’ve seen that people were delayed on the way down yesterday and definitely on the way back so I wondered how many people use free apps like Waze to plan their journey.

I set off just before 7 yesterday morning and Waze had the quickest route as taking the A50 via Stoke to the M1. Normally I would just go down the M6 via Birmingham. Even with a couple of stops I was parking up in Stratford to meet my daughter at 11.20.

Not really. It's a great day out. Being there for the Cup Finals is eating the icing on the cake.

Never had an issue with it and I drive around 35k business miles a year all round the UK. It definitely wouldn’t have had the Stafford stretch of the M6 as one of the three quickest routes it gives you.
