While it's always great to grab a bargain I think experiences like this is what life is about. It's why we work, to enjoy life, have great experiences, like our holidays, you're a long time dead and here a short time, enjoy it.

This year I only stayed one night and as I decided to fly I booked a hotel by Heathrow which was a bargain at £31. Flight was £105. Free bus to and from the hotel, Heathrow express £9 with a priv card then tube to and from Wembley from Paddington. A few pints in London before and after the game, a bite to eat and landed in Manchester at 9:00 am. Bus back to Altrincham, a bit of shopping and in the house by 11:00 am. Great day and night, Wembley always is when you win. So maybe £200-220 all told. We went too many years in the wilderness so I'm soaking up every second of success while it lasts.
