Carabao Cup Final Post-Match Thread

We must have been lucky as we met Villa fans in Watford, Camden and around Euston and no problems at all. They were complimentary about City and were just hoping we didn’t embarrass them like we did at Villa Park. Afterwards, same again, they were just glad we hadn’t run up a cricket score.

Must've been posh brummies' from Sutton Coldfield.

Not sure if related to this but we had 20 seats in front of us empty, 8 in one raw 12 in another, in Block 525. “Empty Seats at (our second) home”
In 523, there were a bunch of teenage kids scattered around, but obviously all togther as they kept swapping seats, a number of them jumped up when villa scored, then thought better of it, but none of them really looked like proper football fans, and they all left before the cup was presented, looked like school "hand out" tickets to me, though there didn't appear to be any adults with them.

Some of the older lads were good, but the younger ones were dunderheads. Jealousy is an ugly thing and villa fans had it bad yesterday.

Group of kids singing the Champions of Europe song, weren’t even born when theywon it, throwing beer cans and fronting up to families in the Fanzone area. Twats.

The ones we came across were ok too.

Champions of Europe, we'll never sing that. Obviously such a huge defining moment, for sch a massive club as Villa, i bet the build up to the game in Rotterdam was electic, Birmingham must have come to a standstill, the hoards of Villa fans desperate to follow them, strangely though with just a small bit of research the last home game leading up to the final, 5 days before at Villa Park against Swansea City attracted the incredible crowd of, wait for it, wait for it.................18294. What a club they are, forever in their shadow.
