Carabao Cup Quarter-Final Games 10/11 January '22

Hopefully the rags get Newcastle in the semis. 1st leg up there with the geordies roaring them on to a narrow victory then 20k of their fans descend on OT for a brutally hard fought 2nd leg with injuries and sending offs a plenty, fucking both teams up for the league.

Meanwhile we beat Forest 5-0 home and away breaking our own record for record aggregate victory in a semi final.

In all seriousness though a favourable or unfavourable SF draw could impact severely on our season.

I don't think we have a best forum. One is really poorly populated and the other is popular but a lot of the posters are very up and down. Personally, I'm a bit like Eddie Howe, I don't get too high or too low.

I'm on here because the posters seem good and we're hopefully on a journey that you've already been on.
I quite liked Toontastic back when I used to read other teams forums.
Before City were taken over and the ever present City bingo bollocks became commonplace on football forums.

I think Eddie Howe is building a very good squad there. I suggested Howe to a few rags in the pub when Ole Gunnargo Solskjaer was about to be sacked, they just laughed. I'll bet Howe goes on to win more than both Solskjaer and Ten Haag do.

I hated the way some of our fans went on about you being taken over but I didn't see it as much as from fans of other clubs.

We already have an aggregate 10-0 semi - final victory against Burton Albion ,so we need to score an extra goal in one of those games to break our current record.

Arsenal fans and their club have been by far the most bitter about it, especially in the early years.

City have never made a disparaging comment about another English club but for Pep to come out and say ‘I have no respect for Arsenal off the pitch’ says an awful lot.

I really like Eddie for the reason already mentioned but he's totally changed our club. People forget that he took over a shambles and that went right through the club. We had no director of football during our transfer window so Howe had to basically do two jobs for us. He's also never tries to take the limelight, he's the first to pass praise straight to the players and his coaching staff.

Tbf the mate the constant negativity from the press has an affect & they just repeat it. Fans of all clubs were affected but I think most started to realise it was to protect the chosen few. Even after we were cleared at CAS & had embarrassed uefa, mates of other clubs were convinced we’d been found guilty.

Bruno and Joelinton could do a job for us. City v Geordie final will be a grand affair - again! And long overdue.

The worst ones with us seem to be Everton and Aston Villa, I guess that's because they both felt that they would be challenging for Europe and then all of a sudden we've come out of nowhere. Arsenal fans have been bad since we took a point off them at their ground.Arsenal fans accused us of cheating, faking injuries, wasting time etc. Maybe they would have been playing CL football this season if they had been a bit clever when they came to our place for their last game and didn't turn up.
