This is a lot better tie than you insta try think. They've got a thin squad. They've got champions league for thr first time in forever, they basically have to play a weakened side. We will make widespread changes as usual so you'd expect our squad players to beat theirs. Much better tie than a decent midtable side that might hold it in higher esteem.

I can't say I'll be arsed if we go out early but I would really really love to win this and get the opportunity to get a picture with our current quadruple and that sweet sweet carabao cup too.

Am I right in thinking if we got to the Q/F it’s at the same time as the World Club Cup? We’d have to do what the dippers did and play the u18’s. If so then no point sending a 1st team to Newcastle
