Cardiff (FA Cup 4th Rd ) Post Match Thread

Just been onto a Cardiff forum and they are all embarrassed at Colin wankers tactics today, praising us to the heavens and fully understand why we slowed the game down to avoid serious injury to players , most are wanting Colin's style and tactics out of Cardiff, seems he is not fully liked in sheep country .

Came out of the game thinking this thread would be about Cardiff being a shower of dirty ***** and Mason being a **** again.
Not once did I think Vinnie was poor.
Great first half spoilt by the Same injury.

Mate its no biggie, we won comfortably and as you say, he didn't do anything wrong of note.

Its just the way i see the guy right now and hopefully im wrong.
We're City fans, we worry, but I don't think you have to worry about that performance from Vinny today. Yes he's coming to the end of his City career but as long as we use him wisely he'll always do a job for us.

I wonder if Mason will watch the game again tonight and admit to himself what a complete fuck up he made of controlling that game. Not to mention the disallowed goal
He'll just pick up half his backhander missed out on the full payment bad Cardiff didn't win/draw.

Ref set the tone right from the 3rd/4th minute when he didn’t book their player for the first of many cynical/horrible tackles. They made four bookable offences before anyone was even spoken to.

Has anyone worked out why Bernardo’s goal was ruled out yet?

after 10 or 15 replays i have seen why the goal was not given you can see clearly sane leg (sorry) the 6 inch lump on his shin sticking like a sore thumb

Great performance, lots of courage as well from the lads in the face of some very thuggish and potentially very season changing challenges.

Suspected a warnock team would try to do that to us today unfortunately. For that challenge on sane I don't think Lee Mason has any excuse, he had a perfect view and blew immediately, but I think he's actually convinced himself to give it for it stopping attacking play when the real foul is happening about four inches further up sane's leg. What a cock that Bennett is, hope he doesn't make it to our league.

Anyway, great to watch, should have been more but for the three blind mice officiating. Quad still on.

What I was so happy about today’s performance was, the assured display of confidence within the team. Some time ago a City team playing away to a strong championship team, could have appeared, nervous, not this team. It didn’t take long for our lads to silence the home crowd.
I believe we are witnessing the start of something amazing, the only annoying thing, from my point of view, is I am to old to get to the games now. I would appeal to younger blues, to enjoy this special time, because as I know, nothing lasts forever.

colin wanker says we made a couple of naughty tackles can anyone remember any bad ones cos I cant

Even if he was offside, he's not interfering with play and mason says that to his linesman and he gives the goal because no one was stopping that shot.
